PRIVACY POLICY

RPM Collector Cars (the “Service”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its Users. The Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help Users understand how the Service collects, uses and safeguards the information provided to the Service and to assist Users in making informed decisions when using the Service.

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the RPM Collector Cars website which can be accessed at http://rpmcollectorcars.com [or through our mobile application] in which users can post user generated content. “User” or “Users” refers to Users of the Service. By accepting the Service’s Privacy & Cookies Policies and Terms of Use, Users consent to the Service’s collection, storage, use and disclosure of User’s personal information as described in the Privacy & Cookies Policies herein.

I. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The Service collects “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify a User, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information the Service may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences Users submit and preferences that are generated based on the data Users submit and number of clicks. Personal Information includes any information submitted by the User through the registration process at the Site.

Information Collected Via Technology

The Service tracks information provided by User’s browser or by the Service’s software application when Users view or use the Service, such as the website a User came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser being used, the device from which a User connected to the Service, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify Users. The Service tracks this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from the Service’s servers and are stored on the User’s computer hard drive. Information Provided To The Service By Registering For A User Account

In addition to the information provided automatically by the User’s browser, to become a registered User of the Service the User will need to create a personal profile. Users can create a profile by registering with the Service and entering an email address, and creating a User name and a password. By registering, the User authorizes the Service to collect, store and use the User’s email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

II. HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

Personal Information

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, the Service does not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes User’s Personal Information with third parties without User’s consent. The Service may share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Service, such as the servers for our email communications who are provided access to User’s email address for purposes of sending emails from the Service. Those vendors use a User’s Personal Information only at the Service’s direction and in accordance with the Service’s Privacy Policy. In general, the Personal Information Users provide to the Service is used to help the Service communicate with Users. For example, the Service uses Personal Information to contact Users in response to questions, solicit feedback from Users, provide technical support, and inform Users about promotional offers.

Non-Personal Information

In general, the Service uses Non-Personal Information to help improve the Service and customize the User experience. The Service also aggregates Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Service. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way the Service’s use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and the Service reserves the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to its partners, advertisers and other third parties at its discretion.
In the event the Service undergoes a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another Service, or sale of all or a portion of the Service’s assets, User’s Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. Users acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of the Service’s assets may continue to process User’s Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If the Service’s information practices change at any time in the future, the policy changes will be posted to the Service’s website so that Users may opt out of the new information practices. It is suggested that Users check the Service’s Policy pages periodically if the User is concerned about how the information is used.

III. HOW THE SERVICE PROTECTS INFORMATION

The Service implements security measures designed to protect Users information from unauthorized access. The User’s account is protected by an account password and the Service urges Users to take steps to keep personal information safe by not disclosing the password and by logging out of the account after each use. The Service further protects User’s information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that a User’s information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using the Service, Users acknowledge understanding and agreement to assume these risks.

IV. USER RIGHTS REGARDING THE USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Users have the right at any time to prevent the Service from contacting the User for marketing purposes. When the Service sends a promotional communication to a User, the User can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences Users indicate by unsubscribing, the Service may continue to send the User administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to the Privacy Policy.

V. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

As part of the Service, the Service may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, the Service is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to a User’s use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link provided by the Service. To the extent that Users access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to the User’s access or use of that site or application. The Service encourages Users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

VI. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

The Service reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service at any time. The Service will notify Users of significant changes to the Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in User accounts or by placing a prominent notice on the Service’s website. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. Users should periodically check this Privacy Policy page for updates.

RPM Collector Cars (the “Service”) uses cookies. By using the Service, Users consent to the use of cookies.

The Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, how the Service uses cookies, how third parties the Service may partner with may use cookies on the Service, User choices regarding cookies and further information about cookies.
